Each time he returned he seemed sadder and less like himself so now he is approaching his golden years we decided to keep him forever at one of our dedicated staff homes as a "lifer" where we can support him financially for the rest of his life. Smurfy loves running through the welsh hills, digging up the garden and being a general cuddly fluff monster!

Roo came into the rescue late 2022 as a severe abuse and neglect case. She had been used for breeding and kept locked in a crate that was zip tied shut with no food or water. She was emaciated, and extremely nervous of all people. Roo has done an amazing job of trusting women now but is still understandably terrified of men. She will remain in her foster home for life with her happy pack of other rescues. Sadly, due to the 2023 announcements about XL Bullies we have had to apply for exemption for Roo but will continue to support her for the entirety of her life. Roo loves stealing sausages, collecting ALL the toys in the home and piling them in her crate and being the centre of attention.

Stella & Cheeko came in to us in 2023 as a sad case. They are a bonded pair of senior Staffordshire Bull Terriers. We discovered that Stella had mammary cancer in September 2023 and managed to treat it before it spread. Their foster mum decided to offer them a lifelong placement in her home as a senior, bully breed, bonded pair, with complex medical history that could never be insured will sadly never be adopted in todays economy. So we will be supporting them for the rest of their lives. Stella & Cheeko love running around the private fields sniffing everything, rolling around in the grass and having cuddles on the sofa.
